Notice of Infringement

If you believe that materials accessible on or from WebReels infringe your copyright, you may submit a Notice of Infringement to WebReels's designated copyright agent ("Designated Agent"). Before doing so, we encourage you to attempt to resolve the issue with the content owner or administrator.

Notice Requirements

Pursuant to Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA, the written notice must include the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe to have been infringed, including copies of, or references to, URL's where your copyrighted works reside.
  3. Identification of the infringing material with sufficient detail for WebReels to locate it.
  4. Adequate contact information for WebReels to reach you.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is unauthorized.
  6. A statement that the information in the Notice of Infringement is accurate.
  7. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Designated Agent Information

WebReels’s designated copyright agent (“Designated Agent”) to receive DMCA Notices of Infringement is:

Counter-Notification

If you are the owner(s) of a content in WebReels and believe that material you posted was wrongfully removed, you can file a Counter-Notification with WebReels through its Designated Agent.

Counter-Notification Requirements

Pursuant to Section 512(g)(2) and (3) of the DMCA, the Counter-Notification must include the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled.
  3. Adequate contact information for WebReels to reach you.
  4. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

Copyright Owner’s Right to File a Lawsuit

WebReels will promptly replace the removed material or restore access within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days after receiving a Counter-Notification unless WebReels’s Designated Agent receives notice that the Complainant has filed a court action.

Repeat Offenders

In certain circumstances and at WebReels’s sole discretion, accounts of customers who are repeat infringers may be disabled and/or terminated.
